Well, that would have been MY title for this book, but I don’t get bragging rights. Bob Thomas gets the kudos for this one. He wrote Walt Disney: An American Original, which MIGHT be a more sophisticated title than the one mentioned above. This book , chock-full of Disneyana, is written by a man whose AP career spanned from the time of the Hollywood Golden Age (like, Hello, he hung out with Warner and Mayer) until he died earlier this year. Super informative, super rich, and probably better titled Walt Disney and His Love of The High Waist, this book is sure to stay on your shelves forever.

A must read for true Disney fans
Read the entire book! I wish it was never finished and just kept going like Disneyland and its legacy would be! This, my friends, is THE BIBLE of Walt Disney! Totally worth reading even if you’re a fifth grader! I highly recommend it!
