These remind me of the kind that used to sit on my grandma’s kitchen table.

Mickey and Minnie Salt and Pepper Shakers

Did you ever have any like this in your family? The tin salt and pepper shakers with the big handles? I love the way the S and P is carved out on them. I think my grandmother’s may have just been plain silver, but these have an extra bit of whimsy since they’re Mickey and Minnie Mouse Salt and Pepper Shakers. I can taste the tomatoes and the green beans out of the garden right now with a dash of S&P on them right now. Yum-o!
